Chile was the last country we visited in South America, and Johnny joined us in Santiago. Check out the hammock which doubles as a clothes line.
Santiago had beautiful weather in March, which is South America’s late summer. It was sunny and 85 degrees (30 C) every day without a cloud in the sky.
The final stop on our South American journey was Valparaíso. This seaside city felt like a more grunge version of San Francisco, but with more graffiti. Home to Pablo Neruda, it has been described as a “wonderful mess.”
